Hello all, Hope you are all doing well. If you know me, you’ll be aware of my love for natural skincare products. Initially I was one of those persons who would be easily carried off by attractive advertisements. But after I started blogging, I’ve realised that natural products are safe, as they are free from parabens and other chemicals which are harmful to the skin. Recently I’ve been using natural face cleansers by Skincarevilla Shop which were sent for reviewing. And today I’ll be sharing my experience about those face cleansers – Green tea mint cleanser and Rose turmeric cleanser. The best thing about these cleansers is that they can be used as face packs too! About Skincarevilla Shop Skincarevilla Shop is owned by Sonali Patil who blogs at Skincarevilla. Being a skincare enthusiast and to provide handmade products at an affordable cost she started Skincarevilla Shop. Her main aim is to spread awareness regarding dry powder cleansers and using natural products. This is more of a hobby than a business to her. Price These cleansers are priced at Rs. 250 for 50 gms of product. Packaging The cleansers are packed in transparent containers with black caps. The ingredient list, price and directions for usage are printed on a separate paper. The new batches have appropriate labels instead. The containers are compact, sturdy and spill proof making them travel friendly. Directions for usage Take a small amount of cleanser and add water to make a smooth paste. Gradually massage your face in circular motions and wash off with cold water. Do not rub harshly. My skin type I have sensitive and combination to dry skin. I’m highly sensitive to fragrances. Green Tea Mint Cleanser Ingredients
My Experience The green tea mint cleanser is greenish in color and has the smell of green tea. It has granules of oats powder which acts as an efficient scrub. The oats granules removed dirt and other impurities from the skin and made the skin soft and clean. If used on a regular basis, this will avoid blackheads and whiteheads. When used as a face pack, it made my skin rejuvenated, bright and clean. The best part about this cleanser is that, it didn’t make my skin dry. If you have been following my insta stories, you’d have known how fresh my skin looked after using green tea mint face pack. If you have normal to dry skin, you should definitely try this cleanser. It acts as a cleanser, scrub, moisturizer and a rejuvenating face pack. This is the best seller of Skincarevilla Shop and I should say that it is the best seller for a reason. Rose Turmeric Cleanser Ingredients
My Experience The rose turmeric cleanser is slightly yellowish in color and has the frangrance of gram flour and turmeric. It is finely powdered and the smell reminds me of the fresh homemade face packs. It worked best as a cleanser and made my skin clean and removed excess oil. When used as a face pack, it cleansed, removed sun tan and brightened my face but was slightly drying. It did not irritate my skin nor stain my face. I feel that the Rose turmeric cleanser is best suited for normal to oily skinned beauties. Final Verdict Overall I loved both the cleansers but Green tea mint cleanser has to be my favorite. It is slightly expensive, but considering the fact that it is 100% natural and handmade, it is worth the price. If you love using natural cleansers/face packs, you should definitely try these products from Skincarevilla Shop and you won’t regret it. These can be perfect gifts for sisters on Rakshabhandhan too. You can order it from the Instagram page of Skincarevilla Shop and pay through NEFT or Paytm.

Hair care Tips
I hope you all found these tips helpful. If you have any other tips, comment them below. Don’t let monsoon make your skin or hair dull! Hi all, Hope you are all doing well. I feel that subscription bags are a great way to try new products and save money at the same time. We all love subscription bags. Don’t we? This month I decided to order the Fab Bag, which is one of the famous subscription bags in India. I ordered it on July 1st but received it on July 17th. I’ll be sharing the products I received and my thoughts about them today. The Bag I received a bright pink pouch which had all the products inside. This pouch can be used to store makeup and during travelling. I like the quality of the pouch and it goes well with their July theme ‘Colour Drama’. Fab Bag is priced at Rs. 599 per month. What’s in my bag?
1. SUGAR Matte As Hell Lip Crayon – Jackie Brown I ordered this month’s bag just because it has the newly launched shades from SUGAR matte as hell range. I received Jackie Brown, which is a warm toned brown which will suit most of the Indian skin tones. It is comfortable on the lips, stays for a long time and transfers slightly. This product alone has covered the price of the bag. 2. Kronokare Hydrate The Hair Shampoo Kronokare Mediterranean Citrus shampoo has natural extracts of orange, bergamot and grapefruit. It has citrus smell and those who are citrus lovers will definitely enjoy using this shampoo. It is SLS, Paraben, Silicone and mineral oil free and is not tested on animals. 3. Justherbs Skin Tint It is a herb – enriched skin tint which has broad spectrum sun protection and is suitable for all skin types. This is just like a tinted moisturizer and provides sheer coverage. It is perfect for daily use and the coverage is buildable to an extent. It gives a natural finish to the skin. 4. Tvakh Fruit Enzyme Alcohol Free Toner This toner has premium fruit extracts that contain natural AHA and BHA that deeply cleans, tones, exfoliates, reduces pore size with optimum hydration. It is a multi tasking product that will keep your skin smooth and radiant. My Thoughts about July Fab Bag My favorite products from July Fab Bag are SUGAR lip crayon and Justherbs skin tint. The other products are good options for monsoon. I love the fact that most of the products are paraben free and safe on the skin. It is nice to see subscription bags bring this change. Delivery time of nearly 2 weeks is something I didn’t like about Fab Bag. Buy Fab Bag here If you are interested in a review of any of the above products, do let me know on the comments section! Buy on Amazon Hello all, Korean beauty products have been in vogue for quite a while now. As soon as I saw the cute Innisfree capsule recipe packs on Nykaa, it was love at first sight! I had to buy one and I chose Green Tea pack as it is rich in anti - oxidants. Korean products are cutely packed and are eye catching. Don’t you agree with me? What is a sleeping pack/mask? Sleeping masks are a great way to intensely hydrate your skin as you snooze the night away. This is an overnight treatment that is meant to be applied as the last step in your routine right before bed. You sleep with them on and then wake up in the morning with beautiful skin. It is recommended to use a sleeping mask twice a week. Product Overview Capsule pack green tea is a sleeping pack with green tea extract that fills the skin with moisture.
Goodness of green tea for skin
Packaging The mask is packed in a small tub which is convenient to use and travel friendly. It has a silver foil underneath which avoids spilling and messiness. Once you open the sticker, you’ll find the huge ingredient list, directions to apply etc. Price Rs. 150 for 10 ml of product. Ingredients Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Glycerin, Methylpropanediol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate Read the entire ingredient list here How to use product? Apply the desired amount of Capsule Pack that has been kept in the refrigerator at the cream step of your basic skincare routine, evenly spread all over your face and go to bed. Wash your face in the next morning. You can also use it at room temperature. My Experience I apply a thin layer of the sleeping mask and wait for 30 minutes before going to bed, so that it gets absorbed into my skin. It has a gel like consistency and is easy to spread on the skin. Thankfully it is not a thick or a runny mask that will make you feel uncomfortable. It has a mild and soothing fragrance which vanishes in a minute. It gives a cooling effect as it has been kept in the refrigerator as per the directions. I recently purchased a black head removal strip from a reputed brand and it was kind of dissappointing. So I decided to try the internet famous DIY charcoal peel off mask. Charcoal is trending everywhere as it acts as a magnet and pulls off dirt, excess oil, blackheads, whiteheads etc. You’ll need
Method of preparation & usage
Result This DIY charcoal mask had removed blackheads, whiteheads and tiny hair from my nose so well. It made my skin so soft, clean and glowing like Rudolph, the reindeer’s nose. I’m not kidding! My nose was so bright than my face, that I tried it on my face as well to make it even. Does it pain? This is one of the most commonly asked questions. Isn’t it? As a nose strip, it pained but not so much. But as a face mask, it was quite painful as I have facial hair. (It differs from person to person) Does it suit sensitive skin? I was afraid to try this as I have super sensitive skin. It gave a mild tingling sensation on my face and so I washed my face with cool water and applied a sheet mask later. I recommend you to do a patch test and apply on your entire face. It would be fine if you are using it only as a nose mask. Is it messy? No one likes a messy mask and this doesn’t drip as it has fevicol mixed. The consistency is quite thick. It gets a little messy if you apply a thick layer. As the outer layer gets dried fast and when you peel it off, you will find the inner layer still moist which cannot be peeled off. What if I can’t peel it? If you can’t peel it as you find it painful, you can wet the area and rinse it off with water. It doesn’t stain your face as well. Important points
I hope you all liked this DIY. If you do so, try them and let me know your experience. Overall, this is an amazing product by Auravedi which stands true by its claims and results in glowing skin. I would definitely recommend this to you all! Buy it here Hello all, Hope you enjoyed your weekend. Today I’m going to review one skincare product that changed my skin. I’m talking about Organique renewal serum which I received in my June Bling Box. I was so excited to use it as I’ve heard so many bloggers praise this product. What is a facial serum? According to a famous dermatologist Dr. Adam Geyer, “Serums are usually formulated with a higher concentration of active ingredients so that a few drops are sufficient to cover the entire face. The texture is usually lighter than a moisturizer, which allows for it to be used as a stand-alone product for someone with oilier skin, or used under a moisturizer for someone with normal to dry skin.” Read more here How to use it? Apply 3 to 4 drops and rub it on your palm and apply on the face and neck. Applying the serum about 2 minutes after you have cleansed your face will allow the active ingredient to penetrate better than dried skin cells. Use it during night for best results because UV rays and oxygen can cause serums to oxidize. About Organique Organique is a natural skincare brand. Handmade, natural, made in small batches to retain freshness. Packaging This serum is packed in a glass bottle with an attached dropper. The bottle has the brand name and the product name but sadly other product details are missing. Ingredients Jojoba oil (herb infused), Black cumin oil, Turmeric oil, Vitamin E, Pumpkin seed oil, Hazelnut oil, Argan oil, Essential oils of Sandalwood, Helichrysum and Lavender. Herbs infused are Fennel seeds, Rose petals, Lavender, Red clover flowers, Rosehips, Calendula. Price Rs. 400 for 12 ml of product. My Experience I cleansed my face after steaming and applied 2 drops of the serum on my face. The serum is yellowish in color and the dropper makes it easier to use. It smelled heavenly and natural as soon I applied. It has a soothing smell which calmed my mind too. It didn’t feel oily, sticky, heavy or uncomfortable on the skin. The serum got absorbed into my skin quite quickly and didn’t stain my pillows too. The next morning I woke up with bright, glowing and reguvenated skin. The difference was evident from the very first use which is amazing. I’ve been using this serum for about 3 weeks and my skin feels moisturised, soft and bright than before. It didn’t cause me any breakouts too. This has become my holy grail product! Pros

Hello all, My food and hair care would be incomplete without coconut. Being an avid coconut lover, I couldn’t resist to buy Naturalium Coconut shampoo and conditioner. It is part of their Fruit Pleasure range which has other interesting variants such as Melon, Peach, Green Apple, Raspberry and Mango. Packaging Naturalium shampoo has a plastic bottle packaging with a flip cap, which makes it travel friendly and spill proof. The packaging is simple yet very attractive with the particular fruit’s image on the bottle. Description Add the freshness of fruits to your daily hair care regime with Naturalium Shampoo & Conditioners. The shampoo is transparent with white hues and has a gel like consistency. It is easy to apply and lathers minimally. It cleansed my hair so well and made my hair nourished and bouncy. It also made my split ends less visible. If you oil your hair before shower like me, you would need more shampoo to remove the oil completely. The coconut smell lingered on my hair for about a day. Regular usage has helped in moisturizing my dry scalp. As it performs the job of both shampoo and conditioner, it saves storage space, time and also money. It would be great if they introduce regular size shampoos too as it is available in only one size. Pros
