Hello all, Hope you are all doing well. I’m a lipstick lover and you must be aware of it by now. I recently reviewed Sugar cosmetic’s lip crayon in the shade Scarlett O’Hara and I’ve loved it so much. I wanted to try another shade of the same range and was confused between Rose Dawson and Holy Golightly. Finally I decided to go with Rose Dawson as it was darker than Holy Golightly and had pink undertones. Today I’ll be sharing my thoughts on my new everyday wear lipstick – Sugar Cosmetic’s Rose Dawson. Packaging This lip crayon has a cardboard outer packaging which has abstract prints on it and is artistic. The lip crayon is matte black with a sturdy cap and the color of the shade at the end. The company’s name along with the shade names are written in white. Price Sugar Cosmetic’s Matte as Hell Crayons are priced at Rs. 799 for 2.8 gms of product. Color & Pigmentation The shade Rose Dawson is a beautiful my lips but better kind of a shade with pink undertones. It is highly pigmented and makes the lips opaque in one swipe. The color can be built with additional swipes. It is appropriate for daily wear and looks best when paired with bold eye makeup. Texture & Staying Power The texture of the lip crayon is creamy and glides effortlessly on the lip. Though it is a matte lipstick, it doesn’t dry the lips. It isn’t heavy unlike some lipsticks and is comfortable to wear. It stayed for about 6 + hours on my lips, survived a light dinner and the lipstick had only slightly faded away. My Final Thoughts
Rose Dawson is suitable for everyone who is looking out for nude lipsticks. It is worth the price as it stays long and gives a natural finish to your look. Sharpening the lip crayon surely breaks my heart. If you are looking for a nude shade that wouldn’t wash you out, you’ve already found it. What are you waiting for, go grab it ASAP!
