BioCare Sandal Scrub This is a body scrub which has sandal’s goodness and smells exactly like sandal wood. It also contains walnut, shell powder and glycerin which are excellent exfoliaters and doesn’t dry the skin. I use this on alternate days and my skin has become visibly soft and supple. 5. Hi all, Hope you are all enjoying the festive season. 2016 was the year I started trying different makeup products and it will be always a special year. With 2016 coming to an end soon, I thought of sharing my 10 favourite makeup products of 2016. Most of the products were launched in 2016, while a few were launched before but it had become my favourite this year. So let’s get started… 1. Maybelline Fit Me Foundation Maybelline Fit Me foundation is a medium to full coverage foundation which lasts for nearly 5 to 6 hours on my skin. It creates a perfect base for the makeup and also gives an air brushed effect. This is an apt foundation for weddings and special occassions. 2. Pond’s BB Cream This is my recent favourite as I have always been a fan of Maybelline Clear Glow BB cream. This matches my skin tone perfectly and gives a natural glow. I like the fact that it is quite moisturising and is budget friendly. This has now become my everyday BB cream. 3. Miss Claire Concealer I’m so glad that I got to know this concealer through some makeup youtubers. This is a perfect concealer which is affordable yet works amazingly. On days when I don’t want my under eyes area to look tired or dark, I apply just one coat and this works like magic. This concealer is a must try if you are looking for one. 4. Plum Kajal Plum kajal is a cruelty free product which is highly pigmented. It is a gel eye liner in the form of a kajal pencil. I wear this on special occssions when I prefer dark kohled eyes. It is water proof and also smudge proof. 5. PAC Pen Eyeliner This is my recent favourite and has become my everyday eye liner. It is pigmented, doesn’t tug, lasts long and has a little glossy effect which I absolutely love. Drawing winged eye liners are a task as I have hooded eyes. But this pen eye liner makes it super easy. 6. NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream - Amsterdam NYX soft matte lip creams are one of the best lip creams available in the market. The shade Amsterdam is a tomato red which is neither too bright nor subtle and is suitable for Indian skin tones. It is transfer proof and lasts longer. 7. Elle 18 Color Pops Matte Lipstick – Prom Pink This is a creamy matte lipstick which doesn’t dry your lips and lasts for 4 to 5 hours. It is worth the price and has a wide range of shades. Prom Pink is my favourite lip stick shade and is perfect for every day wear. 8. Maybelline Color Show Creamy Matte Lipcolor – Flaming Fuschia I find Maybelline’s color show range better than their 12 hr lip stick range. It is because this is highly pigmented, doesn’t dry out the lips and is very affordable. Flaming Fuschia is apt for parties or when you want to feel like barbie doll. 9. Maybelline Dream Touch Blush This was launched way back but I tried it and fell in love with this blush this year. This is a cream blush which has slight shimmer and looks natural. This blush gives an instant fresh and flushed look to my face. 10. Makeup Revolution Redemption Palette Iconic 2 This palette has 12 shades which comprises of golds, coppers, greys, browns and rose golds. Most of the shades are shimmery and are quite pigmented. This earthy toned palette is definitely better than the Maybelline Nudes palette and helps in creating different shades of smokey eyes. Hi all, Hope you are all doing good. For regular updates, follow me on Hi all, The festive season is here and there are offers on almost all online portals. If you are looking out for a ‘perfect eyeliner’, you ought to read this. I wouldn’t call this a review because am not an expert. Instead I would call this as an honest opinion of a consumer. Recently I came across a few youtubers who used PAC products in their makeup tutorials. PAC (Professional Artist Cosmetics) is a brand which offers high quality makeup products at affordable prices. They are well known for their eye lashes, makeup brushes, beauty blender, eye liner & eye shadows. They’ve recently introduced HD foundation, compact powder and matte liquid lipsticks. Being a makeup junkie, I couldn’t resist myself from ordering the PAC pen eyeliner from Amazon. Packaging The PAC pen eye liner comes in a white cardboard box with black letters. The packaging is simple yet effective as it mentions few statistical feedback from their customers. The pen is black in colour with silver writings. Price & Quantity PAC pen eye liner is priced at Rs. 450 for 1 ml of product. Texture & Colour The liquid liner dries matte but it has a slight sheen. It is jet black and quite darker than the Maybelline Colossal liner which I was previously using. As it is highly pigmented, one swipe is enough to line the eyes. Ergonomics & Applicability As it has matte finish around its neck, it is gives better grip. The felt tip is more flexible which makes drawing winged eye liner super easy. Even multiple swipes didn’t hurt my eye lids because of its flexibility. Staying Power I wore it for 8 hours and it stayed on my eye lids without smudging or getting cracked. Just to test its staying power, I smudged both the eye liner swatches and I found it to be the same. Is it waterproof? The packaging says that 81% of consumers found it water proof. I washed the swatch with water and rubbed it with my fingers. It didn’t move. But as I continued rubbing for 3 to 4 times, the eye liner started smudging. My Final Thoughts Am very glad that I came across this product which makes my everyday winged eye liner very easy. I love the pigmentation and its staying power. I would totally recommend this to everyone who is looking out for an eye liner. “Don’t ask a woman with a winged eye liner why she is late.” But PAC pen eye liner helps me in breaking this myth everyday. Happy Winging…!!! For regular updates, follow me on Hi all, Hope you are all doing good. It is mid of December which means that there are a lot of Christmas and New Year parties lined up.
