Flowers, food and saris are the things which come to my mind when I hear ‘Onam’. Onam is the biggest and most important festival of Kerala. Pookalam – flower mats, Onasadya – meal consisting of 11 to 13 dishes served on banana leaves and Kasavu sari – the traditional cream colour sari with golden border, paired with colourful blouses are my favourite part of this festival. As I love dressing up, this was the perfect occasion to try traditional wear and makeup. I paired my Kasavu sari with a maroon blouse that had golden polka dots (I couldn’t resist buying it since I love polka dots). And finally, after a long wait I got to wear my favourite pair of jhumkas with pearl drops. I wore a statement ring and a gold colour watch in this look. My favourite part of dressing up is the makeup. I’ve listed down the products used for makeup in the order of application. Products used for makeup
